Every now and then, a fragrance comes along that has a way of evoking feelings that you can not put into words. That is how I feel every time I wear this fragrance. From the spicy opening of the top notes, the combination of cadarmom, fig, and black tea is so soothing and refreshing at the same time.
After a few minutes of wearing this, the creaminess of the iris intensifies and adds a luxurious feel. Paired with vetiver, I find it grounding and unique to my nose, and the labdinum, which adds depth, warmth, and longevity, is slightly smoky and keeps me captivated.
The sandalwood intensifies and solidifies the creaminess of the heartnotes, bringing some warm, woody, spicy notes to life. The vanilla and tonka bean combination on the base notes is surprisingly not overly sweet, which I prefer and works perfectly for me.

I have enjoyed a decent amount of compliments while wearing this, and if I catch whiffs of it during the day, I feel like its one of those fragrances that has the ability to slow down time in real time and is absolutely pure joy. Because I feel so calm and content at the same time, not many fragrances have the ability to do that, and Lattafa was able to do that with this one. It can easily be a signature scent, and it stays on my shelf. One last thing about this fragrance is that once I wear it, I find it hard not to reach for it.
